ABOUT ME
I am Carine Feiertag:
& the great-granddaughter of the Feiertag family. Around the turn of the last century, they had an imperial and royal (K+K) court tailor shop and a wooden horse in their elegant tailor salon. This wooden horse allowed the ladies to try on the very best drape of their dresses in a seated position on the horse. The fabrics came from France.
The creativity, love for textiles, and art flow from there into my blood, my mind, and my heart into my projects.
In addition, there is the experience of at least 5-6 different lives in this lifetime. Like cats, who also have multiple lives - otherwise, I am a dog woman - currently even without a dog. With two adult daughters, whom I affectionately call my heart sweets and little mice: they are wonderful, successful, and creative women in their own lives.
-
Creativity, the nomadic blood from past lives, and a dash of adventurous spirit, internally and externally, lead me to pendulum between Vienna and southern Spain, and in between, to be on various journeys.
-
And then there's the patriarchy, which I cannot simply accept. Even if for a few thousand years, the masculine has almost pushed the world to the brink and entirely discredited it, exploiting the feminine and depriving it of its values and knowledge. Where there are inequalities, courage is needed. The many women, and a few men, who fought for it before us should not have done so in vain.
-
The feminine in women and men needs new forms of love, power, and expression so that our planet can flourish and thrive, in peace and with the knowledge that women have always woven family ties, relationships, and heartfelt concerns in their networks. The balance of values is called for. And a feminine path of individuation without ifs and buts.
-
Healing on all levels is also part of it, as well as the connection to the greater whole, which is so much more than our small ego, although that is also quite important. In my heart, I am a wild yogini who loves to dance.
And all of this comes together in a stream that makes life a vast river, from which I draw every day, the strength, inspiration, and meditation to have an impact beyond the horizon for myself and others.
My Motivation:
Peaceful, inspiring, stirring, awakening, shaping, loving – however it happens and is allowed to happen, even inner submarine journeys become part of life that are necessary for growth.
Contents:
Growth, development, and inspiration, social criticism, art, music, and globetrotting are the contents of my Zeitgeist blog. I am not lacking in humor, and the reminder not to forget to think for oneself is important to me. Despite our patronizing social media age, which creates a program for self-optimization for everything, which one should follow like a lemming.
In addition, there are various tools that I provide to unfold creatively, to spread wings, to acquire new shores, both internally and externally.
Interests:
And therefore, I indulge in one of my great loves, writing, and photography. The cafes and streets in Vienna and elsewhere in the world are my breeding grounds for what you get to read here. I am delighted to be in connection with you. From heart to heart. Local and global: I call it Heartwarming Activism on all levels. Be a part of it!
